Can I Edit My Messages or Sequence After My Campaign has been Published?

In this article, we will cover the steps to edit a campaign sequence.

Once the campaign is published, you can edit the messages in steps of a campaign sequence, change the delays between the steps, and the ability to add more steps to a sequence.

However, you cannot change the order of the steps or remove any steps for any campaign that is running and already published.


How to edit a campaign:

From the specific campaign, click the three dots located at the right side of your campaign dashboard, then select 'Edit Sequence'.


You can now edit any message or timing from that campaign.



Adding more steps from your existing campaign allows you to scroll down below to see the 'Add campaign step.'


It is worth noting;

  • Allowing to reorder steps once a campaign has commenced isn't possible, as leads in a campaign are treated in groups. This means that when a lead has started the sequence, all other leads have to follow the same sequence.

  • If you decide to change any message or delay timing, it will only affect your leads that haven't gone through that step and moving forward.
