Create Messaging Templates

Master the art of creating, saving, and managing messaging templates with MeetAlfred.

You can conveniently create, save, and manage messaging templates within your MeetAlfred account. These templates offer complete customization, granting you the utmost flexibility.

There are three types of messaging templates available for selection:

  1. Personal templates: These are templates that you create and manage on your own.

  2. Team templates: These templates are shared by your team members, and you can also share them with your team.

  3. Library templates: This is a collection of sample message templates for inspiration. They are ready for you to copy or clone.

To access your messaging templates, simply navigate to 'Templates' > 'Messages'.


Creating Templates

  1. Create a Template by clicking on the 'Create Template' button on the Templates page.

  2. Give your template a name and enter your messaging content, including variables if needed. You can also add attachments or hyperlinks if desired.

  3. Categorize your template using the drop-down menu.
    You can classify your templates into the following seven categories:
    ​

    Sales

    Marketing

    Networking

    Recruiting

    Outreach

    Appointments

    LinkedIn Specific

    Additionally, there is a category called "Inbox" for general messages.
    ​

  4. Choose between making the template "Personal" or "Shared". Personal templates will be saved to your account, while Shared templates can be accessed by other team members in your MeetAlfred subscription.

  5. When you're satisfied, click 'Save' to finalize the template.
    ​

The character limits for these messages are 8,000 for most messages, 300 for LinkedIn messages, and 280 when sending MeetAlfred connection requests.


Creating Email & InMail Templates

You can create a save a template designated for emails or linkedIn emails by enabling the subject For email or InMail messaging templates, you can 'Add Subject' toggle button.


Team Templates

To create a template accessible to team members, choose the 'Team' option before saving.

Shared templates will be saved in your personal library and marked as "Shared".

To access team or shared templates, go to 'Templates' > 'Team'.


Cloning and Editing Templates


View, copy, edit, delete, or share templates by selecting the icons associated with each one.
