Want to connect with people attending a LinkedIn Event—even if they’re not in your network? Meet Alfred’s LinkedIn Event Campaign makes that possible.

📢 What Changed in January 2025?

LinkedIn updated its messaging rules for Events:

  • Event organizers can now message any attendee, even if they're not connected

  • Attendees can only message their 1st-degree connections

How to Create a LinkedIn Event Campaign

  1. In Meet Alfred, choose Campaigns > Events

  2. Click Create Campaign

  3. On LinkedIn, search for the event you're interested in

  • Click the Attend button

  • Copy the event URL from your browser

4. Paste the Event Link into Meet Alfred

  • Go back to Alfred and paste the event URL

  • Set the maximum number of attendees you'd like to pull in

  • Click Next

5. Build Your Campaign Sequence

Add one or more steps to engage with your leads:

  • Profile Engagement: View profiles, auto-follow, and like recent posts

  • Invite 1st-Degree Connections: Send an invite to your own LinkedIn event

  • Message Attendees (if you’re the event organizer): Send direct messages to any attendee—even if they’re outside your network

💬 Messages are fully customizable. Use personalization fields or templates to save time.

6. Set delays between steps to control the pacing

7. Click Continue and name your campaign

8. Click Publish to launch it!

⚠️ LinkedIn Events Limitations

  • If you're the event organizer: You can message all attendees

  • If you're attending: You can only message your 1st-degree connections
