LinkedIn updated its messaging rules for Events:
Event organizers can now message any attendee, even if they're not connected
Attendees can only message their 1st-degree connections
How to Create a LinkedIn Event Campaign
In Meet Alfred, choose Campaigns > Events
Click Create Campaign
On LinkedIn, search for the event you're interested in
Click the Attend button
Copy the event URL from your browser
4. Paste the Event Link into Meet Alfred
Go back to Alfred and paste the event URL
Set the maximum number of attendees you'd like to pull in
Click Next
5. Build Your Campaign Sequence
Add one or more steps to engage with your leads:
Profile Engagement: View profiles, auto-follow, and like recent posts
Invite 1st-Degree Connections: Send an invite to your own LinkedIn event
Message Attendees (if you’re the event organizer): Send direct messages to any attendee—even if they’re outside your network
💬 Messages are fully customizable. Use personalization fields or templates to save time.
6. Set delays between steps to control the pacing
7. Click Continue and name your campaign
8. Click Publish to launch it!
⚠️ LinkedIn Events Limitations
If you're the event organizer: You can message all attendees
If you're attending: You can only message your 1st-degree connections
