Setting up SMTP / IMAP for Outlook

To enable IMAP for your Outlook account, follow these steps:

  1. Go to https://outlook.live.com/mail/0/options/mail/accounts

  2. Enable IMAP by selecting the option.

  3. Once enabled, here are the credentials you need for SMTP/IMAP setup:
    ​
    ​SMTP:

    SMTP Server: smtp-mail.outlook.com

    SMTP Username: your Microsoft email

    SMTP Password: your Microsoft email password

    SMTP Port: 587 (TLS always enabled)

    IMAP:

    IMAP Server: outlook.office365.com

    IMAP Username: your Microsoft email

    IMAP Password: your Microsoft email password

    IMAP Port: 993
