We provide an advanced white label feature that enables you to customize the "sent from" email address used for sending notification emails from our system. By default, scheduled reports are sent from the address "[email protected]".
By setting up a personalized email address, such as [email protected], notification emails sent by our system will come from and reply to your desired email address instead of meetalfred.com.
This exclusive capability is part of our White Label feature specifically supported for our Teams plan and can only be activated by an Account owner role.
The types of notification emails the system sends include:
Account Registrations
Account Invitation
Password resets
Disconnection notifications
To access the White Label feature, simply go to the settings page and click on the 'White Label' tab. From there, switch on the toggle button to enable White Label and start customizing your account.
⛔To configure SMTP, you need to assign a custom domain. After activating the "White Label" feature and applying your custom domain, the SMTP section will become visible.
Set Up SMTP/Custom Email Address
Activate the 'White Label' feature. Once activated you'll see the Custom Email section.
Ensure that you have enabled third-party service connections in your email provider settings. If you're using Gmail, you may need to adjust your security settings to allow the connection.

Click on the dropdown menu and start filling out the form using the password you copied.
These are all the fields you need to complete:
Reply-to address: The email address where responses will be directed.
From (sender) Name: Personalize your message with your name.
SMTP server: Find your mailing service provider's host address. For Gmail, use smtp.gmail.com.
SMTP Username: Your email address or mailing account.
SMTP Password: Paste the password you copied from the previous steps without spaces.
Port Number: This will vary depending on your provider.- Enable start TLS/SSL: Enable/disable the check box according to server settings
Use the following SMTP / IMAP credentials
SMTP
SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com
SMTP Username: your Gmail address
SMTP Password: the password generated in the previous steps, make sure to remove spaces.
SMTP Port: 587 if you enable TLS, otherwise 465
IMAP:
IMAP Server: imap.gmail.com
IMAP Username: your Gmail address
IMAP Password: the password generated in the previous steps
IMAP Port: 993
Make sure to Enable TLS/SSL In Meet Alfred
Once you've completed the configuration, the 'Send Test Email' and 'Apply Email Settings' buttons will be active.
Send yourself a test email to ensure that all your desired changes are applied.
Click on 'Apply Email Settings' to save your changes.
If you ever need to remove this custom integration, simply click on 'Remove Email Settings'.
How It Works
After setting up your custom email address/SMTP integration, any outgoing notification emails sent to your accounts will no longer display the MeetAlfred branding. Instead, they will be replaced with the information you have configured.
Remove/Turn Off Custom Email Settings
To remove your custom email setup, follow these steps:
Click on the 'Custom Email Address' section.
Click on the 'Remove Email Settings' button.
Remember to click on 'Confirm' to save the changes.
