Connect Your Email to Meet Alfred

Unlock the power of email automation and multichannel sequences with Meet Alfred by connecting your email account.

Meet Alfred lets you seamlessly connect your Email account allowing you to automate email and multichannel sequences. This feature is only available for plans that support multi-channel automation.

You can integrate your email and Meet Alfred using:

  1. Gmail/Gsuite

  2. Microsoft/Outlook

  3. SMTP + IMAP

To get started, go to 'Settings' > 'Integrations' and click on the 'Email' tab.


How it works

  1. On the Email integrations tab choose your preferred option to sign in with Google, Microsoft, or SMTP.

  2. Once you've made your selection, you'll be prompted to authorize the connection. Click the 'Continue' button to grant access to the chosen email.


    When using the Google option: If your desired account is not listed, click on "Use another account" and authorize the connection with MeetAlfred.​

⚠️ You can add an Alias for personalized emails and enjoy seamless email integration.

⚠️ You can only use one email integration at a time.

⚠️ If you have multiple email accounts, simply pause or archive your old campaigns before changing the authorized email address on the Integrations page to prevent errors and ensure all emails are sent successfully.


Set Up SMTP + IMAP Integration

SMTP integrations provide the flexibility to customize sender information, reply-to addresses, and enhance email deliverability.

To use the service properly, follow these activation steps based on your email provider:

📌For Google/Gmail: Read Article

📌For Outlook/ Microsoft: Read Article

📌For other email providers: Check your provider settings to find IMAP and SMTP information.

  1. Log in to MeetAlfred.

  2. Navigate to Integrations > Email.

  3. Click on the SMTP+IMAP menu and complete the fields:

    SMTP for Sending (Outgoing Messages)

    Reply-to address: The email address where responses will be directed.

    From (sender) Name: Personalize your message with your name.

    SMTP server: Find your mailing service provider's host address. For Gmail, use smtp.gmail.com.

    SMTP Username: Your email address or mailing account.

    Port: This will vary depending on your provider.

    Enable start TLS/SSL: Enable/disable the check box according to server settings.


    IMAP Server (Incoming Messages)

    IMAP Server: Imap.<name of service>.com.

    IMAP Username: Add your Gmail address.

    IMAP Password: The password to an email account that is configured to use IMAP.

    Port: This will vary depending on your provider.
    Enable start TLS/SSL: Enable/disable the check box according to server settings.

  4. Once you've completed the configuration, send a test email by clicking on "Test SMTP + IMAP" to make sure everything is working correctly. Confirm the test email reaches your inbox.

  5. Click on "Save Settings" to save your changes.


Setup or Update Your Email Signature in MeetAlfred

You can Include a custom email signature for all of your email campaigns. Simply click on the "Update email signature" button.

Enter your signature details and click on Update to save the changes. Your configuration will be applied to all enabled emails.
